Purpose: Establishing social protection measures after 1 January 2021 in the context of the pandemic of Covid-19, for example, measures to support employers and employees. Such as:
- Employers shall benefit for a period of 12 months of a monthly indemnity of 50% of the employees’ income, but not more than 2,500 lei, for each employee from specific categories they hire between 1 January 2021 and 1 September 2021 for an indefinite period, full time. Employers who terminate the individual employment contracts earlier than 24 months must fully reimburse the received amounts, plus interest;
- Employers may be granted, at their choice, the reimbursement of 41.5% of the received income from the unemployment insurance budget, but no more than 41.5% of the national average income, for up to 3 months until 30 June 2021, for the employees that conclude individual employment contracts for a fixed period of up to 3 months.
