Isabela Delia Popa has built her career based on the firm belief that legal service excellence is based on the passion to practice business law at the highest standards, on the involvement in complex and sophisticated projects, as well as on the importance of advocacy in terms of understanding the business environment.

Labour law is one of the most representative practice areas that Isabela has been involved in.

Isabela holds PhD in Labour Law from the University of Bucharest, with an outstanding track-record in negotiating employment contracts for key personnel/top management/cross border employment.

She is advising on dismissals and collective lay-offs and closing of production units, collective labour bargaining agreements, internal regulations, negotiating and drafting various special employment clauses aimed to protect the employer, appointment of employees’ representatives/negotiations with trade unions, implementing labour law legislative amendments, handling labour law litigations derived from dismissals and/or collective lay-offs, moral harassment claims, salary claims, reorganisation/company restructuring/transfer of undertakings.
